Acqua di Parma's Colonia Intensa is a citrus perfume with classic and modern aspects. The opening is both citric and spicy. This is provided by a blend of Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian lemon, ginger and cardamom. The middle has a green and herbaceous scent due to the ingredients myrtle and artemisia. Neroli adds floral character and underscores the citrus of the top notes. Leather accord, musk, patchouli, cedarwood, benzoin form the base. Together they create aspects of earthiness, smoothness, woodiness and depth.
